_“Water in My Eyes”
Photography workshop for Maasai Youth__“Water in My Eyes” MCV camera project was created to address the psychological and emotional impacts of the water crisis on Maasai youth. This is a unique and inclusive arts initiative for Maasai youth to visually explore their environment and capture the frustrations of having a limited and insufficient water supply. Utilizing a disposable camera they will share with viewers a glimpse into their world and the challenges they experience with finding suitable water for everyday use.
Objectives: To give a visual voice to a constant daily struggle of using contaminated water for daily use Workshop Goal: The goal of the workshop will be to provide first hand visuals of how the water crisis effects the Maasai youth in Kenya. Workshop Outcome: The outcome of the Water in My Eyes workshop is to produce photo books, photographs and other visual materials for purchase.
